The role:

Aligned with our dedication to customer centricity and strategic imperative to position ourselves for growth, we are now seeking a self-motivated, proactive, and energetic sales superstar, to join us in the newly created, additional position of Account & Business Development Manager.

Reporting to the General Manager, this newly created, permanent full-time hybrid role, will be responsible for driving revenue growth and expanding market share across the assigned territory (Approx South of Palmerston North inclusive, and the South Island) by developing and implementing strategic sales and business development initiatives. The role plays a pivotal part in identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and fostering partnerships to achieve organisational objectives.

As proud partners on the new Dunedin Hospital project, this role will also have the opportunity to make their mark on the country’s most significant and modern health related building project in New Zealand’s history! And will do this by taking a lead role to nurture this relationship, pivotal for the success of this implementation for Rauland New Zealand.

How would you contribute to our success?

  • Developing a robust understanding of our Platform solutions and services, to effectively identify and communicate how they can be applied to our customer’s needs.
  • Developing an in-depth understanding of the applicable governing standards our customers operate under.
  • Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients. Understand their needs, anticipate market trends, and tailor solutions to meet their requirements effectively.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities throughout market research, networking, and prospecting to build and maintain a robust pipeline of leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to align sales efforts with overall business objectives. Provide feedback and share industry insights to inform product development and marketing strategies and refine sales strategies to gain and retain a competitive advantage.
  • Prepare compelling proposals, presentations, and pitches to showcase the company’s products and services. Negotiate terms and conditions to secure profitable contracts and agreements.
  • Monitor sales performance metrics, such as revenue, conversion rates, and sales pipeline velocity. Prepare regular reports and presentations to communicate progress and performance, challenges, and opportunities to senior management. Document all sales opportunities and forecasted performance within the company provided tools.

  • A willingness to travel within NZ as and when required and hold a full NZ driver license.
