The role:

To support the existing and upcoming pipeline of work, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Site Supervisor with excellent communication skills, a keen eye for detail, and a thorough understanding of commercial construction processes.

Reporting to the Program Manager, this permanent full-time role, will be responsible for supporting the effective delivery of commercial construction and refit projects in healthcare environments, through directing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of installation teams, including technicians and subcontractors. The role will also perform adhoc minor installations works as required.

How would you contribute to our success?

  • Direct & coordinate site activities to ensure smooth operations.
  • Ensure that all work is completed according to project specifications, standards and deadlines.
  • Supervise site workers including subcontractors and labourers.
  • Monitor and manage the use of site equipment and materials.
  • Ensure site safety regulations are strictly followed and promote a safe work environment.
  • Conduct regular inspections to ensure the quality of work meets project standards.
  • Address any issues or discrepancies promptly to avoid project delays.
  • Maintain details records of site activities.
  • Serve as a primary contract between the site and project management team.
  • Communicate project progress, issues and changes to stakeholders.

What will make your application stand out?

  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel to different work sites across the state (with adhoc overnight stays as needed).
  • A willingness to support with on call responsibilities estimated to be 1 week every 7-8 weeks.
  • A proven track record of successful site leadership on commercial construction projects (extra tick if within healthcare, or technology environments / sectors!)
  • Strategic thinker with exceptional organisational skills, adept to managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • A demonstrated focus on customer centricity; understanding their needs and concerns is your core starting point to building relationships and demonstrating how we can add value.
  • You are self-motivated, with demonstrated ability work independently with minimal supervision, and manage priorities and deadlines effectively.
  • Strong knowledge of construction processes, equipment and safety regulations.
  • Working in a fast-paced environment, being challenged, and broadening your capabilities, are what keeps you energised and interested.
  • Your strong understanding of IP networking concepts, protocols and hardware technologies.
  • Your problem-solving and attention to detail combined with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
