The role:

Aligned with our dedication to customer centricity and to ensure our Victoria team are equipped to support the pipeline of current and future projects, we are seeking a self-motivated, proactive and customer centric technically minded individual, to join us in the position of, Systems Engineering Support based in North Melbourne.

Reporting to the Client Services & Operations Manager, this permanent full-time role, (+ optional overtime) would be a fantastic opportunity for a recent graduate or someone wanting to grow their career in the technical engineering field. The role plays a crucial role in the effective deployment and triaging of communication technologies, by providing invaluable and reliable technical and administration assistance to our System Engineers.

How would you contribute to our success?

  • Creating configurations
  • Completing system testing and changes (via CX Planner)
  • Creating relevant change documentation
  • Triaging and resolving faults.
  • Develop and maintain project drawings, designs or concepts (including but not limited to: shop drawings, schematics and system diagrams).
  • Producing Project specific technical documentation.
  • Supporting the installation and commissioning of systems (software & hardware), and associated integrations.

  • Your strong understanding of IP networking concepts, protocols and hardware technologies
  • Your strong understanding of telecommunication systems, VoIP technology and digital communication platforms.
  • Your understanding of Linux operating system and basic commands.
  • Your problem-solving and attention to detail combined with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
  • Your proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment for testing and troubleshooting communication systems.
