The role:

We are seeking a self-motivated, proactive and energetic Service Technician to join our team and play a pivotal role in ensuring prompt and effective service delivery, for our customers within the Adelaide Metro and outer suburb regions (with proactive & reactive regional support throughout SA as required – mainly Port Augusta & Whyalla).
 
Reporting to the Service Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring efficient operation of communications equipment or systems, effective communication of faults and service outcomes and minimising downtime. 

How would you contribute to our success?

  • Developing a robust understanding of our Platform solutions and services, to effectively identify and communicate opportunities to enhance or resolve our customer’s needs.
  • Installing, configuring and maintaining communication equipment and systems within our customers environments.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving technical issues promptly to minimise downtime and maintain continuity in communication services.
  • Conducting regular inspections and preventative maintenance activities to ensure the reliability and performance of communication infrastructure and provide timely reports highlighting risk and applicable recommendations for maintaining the effectiveness of the solutions in place.
  • Collaborating with other team members and departments to coordinate installation projects, upgrades and system expansions within agreed timeframes and budgets.

  • Your strong understanding of IP networking concepts, protocols and hardware technologies.
  • Your problem-solving and attention to detail combined with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues accurately and efficiently.
