The role:

Following recent promotions within our Warehouse team, we are now seeking an energetic person with a strong work ethic to join us in this position of, Warehouse Storeperson based in North Melbourne, Victoria.

Reporting to the Warehouse Manager, this full-time permanent entry level role, will primarily be responsible for delivering efficiencies within the warehouse environment, including but not limited to managing deliveries, fulfilling, and preparing orders, supporting accurate recording of stock, and stocktakes and is a perfect opportunity for someone looking to get their foot in the door, or grow their career within a complex supply chain environment.

How would you contribute to our success?

  • Effectively and accurately managing stock controls and filling orders
  • Accurately completing documentation at the completion of each job
  • Supporting our production team through the supplier returns process
  • Liaising with the projects / service team on uncollected stock
  • Proactively identify and report risks / issues
  • Working with freight providers and arranging despatch requirements.
  • Championing a culture of safe working practices.

What will make your application stand out?

  • Your attitude efforts towards maintaining a safe working environment!
  • Experience picking and packing within a warehouse environment (inventory and stocktake experience an extra tick!)
  • Your proven ability to work effectively in a team and unsupervised.
  • Your ability to complete basic word and excel tasks
  • Knowledge and/or experience of SAP or another ERP system.
  • Your communication skills and customer service approach!
  • Your strong attendance record and ability to be relied on.
  • Your organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Your ability and willingness to carry out manual tasks and frequently carry up to 10+kgs.
