In March we had the pleasure of bringing teams from different disciplines and locations together for our biannual Hack2Care Day.
It is an opportunity for our teams in various locations to come together and develop ideas to further push the boundaries of care innovation. The goal is simple: experiment with new ideas/technologies or enhance existing solutions to make a greater impact on our clients and care consumers.
It is also about incorporating the voices of our customers and clinicians. By standing in their shoes, we ensure our innovations address real-world issues, delivering tangible impact to those on the frontline of care delivery.
However, the most important value of Hack2Care is fostering a culture of passion, innovation and collaboration. We believe these three elements are intertwined in everything we do, driving us to solve some of the toughest challenges our dedicated care staff and healthcare customers face.
This year, we had over 40 people across our Product, Design, Sales and Clinical teams participate in the two-day event, working on solving problems/finding solutions across five different areas. While some teams ventured into new ideas, others worked on improving our existing Concentric Care solutions to enhance efficiencies and further push the boundaries of care technology.
After working feverously, the teams stood up in a competitive pitching and presentation round to everyone attending, with the final innovation award by popular vote going to the ResiTrack team; they worked on a game-changing expansion of our existing resident Safety Monitoring solution, encouraging a more preventative and thus proactive approach to falls management in resident care.
It is inspiring to see our teams coming together and working on solutions all around the shared purpose of transforming health consumer and staff experiences through making breakthrough advancements in digital health solutions.
