The role:

To accelerate our strategic growth in the aged-care market, we’re seeking a driven, self-motivated Business Development Manager who thrives in a fast-paced, scale-up environment. You’re someone who confidently opens new doors, builds strong relationships and wins meaningful deals.

Reporting to the GM of Aged Care, you will lead growth across NSW and ACT by identifying, pursuing and securing new business opportunities within the aged-care sector. Commercially minded and proactive, you’re comfortable putting yourself out there cold calling, networking, engaging at industry events and using smart lead-generation strategies to connect with aged-care providers, operators and senior leaders.

How would you contribute to our success?

  • Sector & Solution Expertise: Develop a deep understanding of aged-care operations, regulatory environments, clinical workflows and resident needs to position our solutions effectively.
  • Drive Growth: Build and manage a robust new-business pipeline across the aged-care market, qualifying opportunities and expanding our presence with both new and existing providers.
  • Create Opportunities: Proactively engage the aged-care sector through prospecting, cold calling, industry networking, conferences and lead-generation activities. Communicate how our technology improves resident outcomes, safety, compliance and operational performance.
  • Sales Ownership: Manage the full sales cycle from outreach to close, delivering tailored, value-led solutions for aged-care organisations.
  • Build Partnerships: Develop strong relationships with executives, care leaders, facility managers, clinical teams and industry partners to maximise market access.
  • Manage Pipeline: Maintain accurate CRM records and forecasts, tracking key metrics and ensuring predictable revenue outcomes.
  • Stay Ahead: Monitor aged-care industry trends, reforms, funding changes and competitor activity to strengthen strategy and positioning.
  • Cross-Team Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to shape messaging and ensure solutions align with aged-care needs.
  • Ensure Smooth Handover: Support seamless transitions from sales to implementation to set facilities up for long-term success.

What will make your application stand out?

  • 5+ years’ experience in business development or B2B sales.
  • Proven success in business development, ideally within aged care, digital health, ICT or clinical technology.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, including experience crafting bespoke solutions and tender responses for aged-care providers.
  • Commercial acumen in pricing, negotiation and structuring complex deals.
  • Willingness to actively prospect and break into new sites, groups or regions.
  • Exceptional emotional intelligence and communication skills, with the ability to tailor impactful presentations to care leaders, operational managers and executives.
  • Tech-savvy with CRM and reporting tool proficiency.
  • Resilient, driven and comfortable operating in a fast-paced scale-up environment.
  • Willingness to travel within VIC and hold a full Australian driver license.

What can you expect in return?

In addition to the opportunity to help shape a high-performing, future-ready workforce, you can expect to be part of a supportive and inclusive environment where your contributions matter. We value your growth and offer enhanced leave entitlements so you can invest in yourself and be present for the moments that truly matter.
