Rauland Australia engaged for new Maitland Hospital Project

Rauland Australia has been engaged by Multiplex Constructions Pty Ltd to deliver the Nurse Call System and associated clinical workflow, design, delivery and installation services for the new Maitland Hospital re-development project in the Lower Hunter Valley of New South Wales.

The new Maitland Hospital will provide infrastructure and increased health services capacity to support projected growth in the Maitland region over the next 10 years.  By embracing innovative technology, the new Maitland Hospital will create new ways of working to improve performance and achieve better health outcomes.

The new hospital will offer a wider range of services with significantly more beds and treatment spaces. It will include emergency care, chemotherapy chairs, surgical services, critical care, maternity services, paediatric care, cardiac catheterisation, inpatient beds, mental health, rehabilitation services and outpatient clinics.

The new Maitland Hospital is planned to open in 2022 and will meet the growing health service needs for the surrounding communities of the Hunter Valley now and into the future.

“We are very excited to work on this project with the new Maitland Hospital and support the delivery of world-class, innovative healthcare to the Hunter Valley communities,” said Steve Gomes, Director, Rauland Australia.
