The $790 million redevelopment is one of the state’s largest infrastructure projects and will deliver a significant expansion of healthcare services to Sydney’s southwest, together with a new education and research hub.
The Liverpool Health and Academic Precinct will provide Liverpool Hospital with expanded clinical services through an integrated cancer centre, expansion of the hospital’s emergency department, neonatal intensive care, maternity and children’s services, and ambulatory and outpatient care. Main works on the project has commenced and completion of the new Precinct is scheduled for 2026.
